Catherine C. Attah

Chief Executive Officer

She is a graduate of Mass Communication from Delta State University, Abraka. Catherine is also an inducted member of the Administrative and Staff Council of Nigeria (ASCON) and holds a Customer Relationship Management Certification from the European Council E-Business Certification Series.

Her professional experiences span electronic media broadcasting and advertising with Delta State Broadcasting Services, Ebonyi State Broadcasting Services (F.M) and Traders Publishing. She was at various times held commercial and retail banking roles with the then Oceanic Bank Plc and later Ecobank Nigeria Plc, where she managed relationship of major trading conglomerates and multinational clients. Catherine later resigned her position in the bank to set up a successful interior design and furnishing company, Fumzy’s Interiors.

Her leadership strengths are in the areas of strategic management, strong communication and negotiation skills, financial management and most importantly customer and client relationship management.

Haruna M. Oman

Chief Operating Officer

Haruna is a seasoned maritime professional with a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management Studies from Federal Polytechnic, Idah. As a result of his love and passion for the maritime industry, he proceeded to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Shipping Management and was later inducted as an Associate Member of Chartered institute of Shipping of Nigeria (ACISN). In the course of his professional development drive, he was admitted into the post graduate program at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, where he bagged a Masters Degree in Transport Management (Logistics Options).

His working career started as an Administrative Officer with Mitob Limited. He later moved to take up a challenging role with Nigerian Chamber of Shipping as Business Development Officer, where he later rose to become the Business Development Manager. He also had a stint with Norfolk Paper and Packaging Limited, where he worked as Manager Sales & Distribution covering the entire Northern Region between 2008 and 2010. Before joining Blue Planet, he was involved in a series of mentorship programmes in investment consulting, trade facilitation, logistics & supply chain management and project management.

Mr. Haruna is a hardworking, purpose driven, team player and committed to the growth and development of others. He is widely traveled both locally and internationally for seminars and business workshops. He is among the Nigerian continents that went to sign the Shipping/Bilateral Trade Agreement in Athens between the Federal Government of Nigeria and Greece in 2007.

Chinedu Okoli

Head, Technical & Commercial Services

Mr. Okoli is a graduate of Geological Science with over 10 years operational and commercial experience in the marine and logistics services industry. His experiences are in the areas of vessel logistics and operations relating to Anchor handling, Tug supply, Crew, Multicat and dredging. He has held positions at executive levels for companies like Mife Construction, Oceanreign Limited, Southdredge Limited to mention but a few. Chinedum has participated in various local and international trainings and courses in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Project Management and International Trade. He remains passionate in achieving set goals through efficiency, hard work, dedication and trustworthiness.

Richard Emelogu

Operations Manager (Freight Forwarding)

Richard has over 12 years dedicated experience in shipping and clearing & forwarding industry. He holds an advanced Diploma in Shipping and Transportation from Aviation Training Institute, Lagos. Prior to joining Blue Planet, he was the operations manager at Marine Gulf Shipping Agency Ltd, where he covers all their Lagos operations for their clients in manufacturing, commodity trading, building & construction, automobile services and multinational conglomerates. Other Clearing and Forwarding companies he has worked for include; FBI Shipping Ltd, Ginola International Agencies Ltd and Ninorax Services Ltd.
